Bahariya Oasis

The village of Bahariya, which is in an oasis, looks like it is Egypt’s first real desert community. From Cairo, it will take you about four or five hours to get to your destination on a well-kept road that sees a few tankers but not much other traffic. Most of the time, there aren’t many people walking along this route. There is only one place to get a drink while traveling, and it is a tea shop in the shape of a barn that is 150 kilometers into the trip (and a smaller one approximately 10 kilometers farther on).

In 1935, French pilot Antoine de Saint Exupery was flying toward Wadi Natrun when he lost control of his plane and crashed on the way to the airport. On the road to the airport, the accident site is on the right side of the road. Exupery was able to stay alive in the harsh desert conditions with only a half-pint of coffee and an orange to eat. He was able to write a book about what he went through. Then, he wrote about his adventures in the great book “Wind, Sand, and Stars,” which is set in a place with a desert climate.

Bahariya has been visited by a lot of tourists from many different countries over the course of its history. This is because it is close to Cairo, the capital of Egypt. When these travelers went to Bahariya, they were hoping to find peace and freedom in the middle of the desert. They started a lot of the new eco-spiritual groups or are actively involved in how these groups work. These groups offer safaris. They are made to meet the needs of the growing number of tourists who want to do more than just look at the scenery while they are in Africa.

When you drive through Bahariya, you will pass through a big town called Bahati. In the depression around the oasis, where oasis is, there are a lot of very small towns. Many of these towns have been around since the time of the Romans and are worth seeing. People have lived in Bahariya for hundreds of years, and the so-called “Golden Mummies” were found in this city a few years ago. For hundreds of years, people have lived in Bahariya. People have lived in Bahariya for many hundreds of years.

When you go to the museum in Bawiti, which is at the park’s entrance, you can see some of the mummy cases that have been kept in good shape. You can buy just about anything in the shops, including scarves and carpets made by Bedouin people. All of this and more can be found.

Look for traditional shops and services, like the bakery, which is a small, dimly lit hole in the wall where people put their hands to buy their daily bread.
Gebel Dest is in the hills behind the town. It was here that the German scientist Eric Strommer found important dinosaur bones more than a hundred years ago. The name of this place, Gebel Dest, comes from the dinosaur that was found here. Spinosaurus was the name he gave to a meat-eating dinosaur he found that was similar to the Tyrannosaurus rex in many ways. If you’ve seen the movie “Jurassic Park III,” you’ve seen the Spinosaurus fight the Tyrannosaurus rex at the end.

There are historical sites all over Bawiti that are waiting to be found and explored by people who are curious. After you’ve seen everything you want to see, you can wash off the sand and dirt you picked up in the desert in one of the many hot springs that flow naturally from the ground under the oasis. These springs get their heat from the desert, which is the natural heat source of the ground.

This monument is the only one of its kind that is still standing in Egypt. It is on the way from Bahariya to Siwa. It is the only one in the world that is still standing. The discovery supports the idea that Alexander the Great went to the oracle at Siwa and then went back to Bahariya.

After going through the dusty and mysterious village of Bawiti, you reach the start of your journey into the Black Desert. This is the start of their journey. Manganese in the rocks of the Black Desert has been oxidized by the air, which has turned the rocks black. This is why the area is called the “Black Desert.”
